We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer in Brasov (relocation possibility)

Required skills and experience:

– University Degree (technical preferred)
– Experience in a similar position (automotive industry is an advantage)
– English is mandatory; German or Italian is a big PLUS;
– Good command of MS Office tools;
– Problem-solving skills/tools (8D report, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, part analysis reports from our Warranty Return Center for main customers BMW and Stellantis)
– Core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA)
– Quality standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3)
– Time management skills (organization, prioritization, planning)
– Customer communication / negotiation


– Checks on a daily basis quality complaints arrived via customer portals, e-mail, or fax
– Informs all relevant departments about new complaints
– Initiates immediate containment action plans for any customer complaints inside the company/customer location;
– Assures proper failure analysis and establishes corrective actions together with the 8D team
– Follows up the actions for completion, validation, closure, and submit the 8D information to the customer
– Attends meetings and makes customer visits if necessary
– Maintains contact with OEMs and tier 1 in order to collaborate effectively with them
– Elaborates and presents quality indicators (weekly, monthly) of the complaint investigation process for Middle and Senior Management
– Communicates the complaint investigation findings to the appropriate response and escalates Senior Management on critical issues if needed
– Analyzes customer trend data, monitors warranty costs, and payment approval
